Alexander Wang is on it, with a slick collection of conquer-the-world clothes. Next season’s street style bait includes studded leather gloves, crystallized branded lunch bags, and high-rise shapewear with Wang’s logo writ large at the waistband. Think Calvin Klein undies, but bigger. Aside from that detail, these were ultramodern CEO styles for women—to quote front row fixture Cardi B—making money moves.

Ashley Graham opened Christian Siriano’s show, and a crowd of hundreds instantly recognized her, and erupted in applause. There was a lot to cheer about—red dream dresses, sharp metallic pants, a couture parade at the end—but Siriano’s casting of diverse models and actresses (hi, Danielle Brooks!) was worth the standing ovation.
